About the job:

The CPD Group are the leaders in CPD Accreditation, working closely with CPD Training Providers, Trainers and Employers across the UK and overseas.

Due to expansion and the continued growth of the company, we are looking for a highly motivated Events, Conference and Exhibition Manager to work with our Sales and Marketing team, primarily introducing our Accreditation Services to Events, Conference and Exhibition providers throughout the UK.

The role requires an individual with a background in events who is exceptionally well organised, has an eye for detail, has excellent time management skills and has experience in managing relationships and networking who is customer facing.

You will be working with our incredible team at the company offices in Rothwell, Northamptonshire. There will also be a requirement for travel to and from clients’ events off-site.


Responsibilities:

Responsible for the building of relationships with Events, Conference and Exhibition providers you will:

  • Take ownership of introducing our Accreditation Services for a wide range of bespoke events including conferences, awards, exhibitions, seminars, promotions, and exhibitions.
  • Working with clients to plan the schedule of their events.
  • Coordinate the event registration details with our IT Department and our clients.
  • Actively working with colleagues in the Marketing department and external marketing departments to coordinate event promotion and introduction.
  • Produce detailed event briefing documents and marketing materials for each client event.
  • Attend events when required
  • Actively reviewing and evaluating all events, collating feedback from internal and external colleagues and clients, and identifying key learnings and areas of improvement and producing event reports.

Skills and Experience required:
  • At least 1 years’ experience in events/ conferences/ exhibitions.
  • Virtual Events experience (desirable).
  • Exceptional planning skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Excellent organiser and administrator.
  • Proficient writer and confident speaker.
  • Prepared to travel across the UK including overnight stays.
  • Full clean driving licence

Desirable skills and experience:
  • A Degree or relevant qualification in Event Management or similar discipline.
  • Project Management skills.

Details

Location: Rothwell, Northamptonshire

Job Type: Full-time Permanent,
Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
28 days holiday including bank holidays.

Salary: Basic Salary £20,000 per year + Bonus (OTE 40k+)
