The CPD Group: Four Day Working Week Trial
The CPD Group team are excited to announce that we're trialling a four-day working week! This change is something that we've been working towards for a while, and we believe it will be a great benefit to our team, and as a result, will result in an even better service for our customers.
As a result of recent studies, we have decided to undertake a four month trial of the four day working week. We believe that this change will result in improved productivity and job satisfaction for our team, which will result in a better service for you, our customers.
At The CPD Group, we're all about professional development. This includes the accreditation of our Providers, Trainers, Activities, Events and Employers, but it also includes the development of our own workplace to be the best it can be. We strive to create a working environment that delivers the best results and fosters a positive balance between professional and personal life.
With fewer hours in the office, our team will have more time to spend with family and friends, as well as time for hobbies, travel, and other activities. This can lead to increased motivation and engagement in their work, which is a win-win for everyone. We believe that happier staff equals higher productivity, so we're excited to see the results of the trial.
We're confident that this switch to a four-day work week will be beneficial for our team and our business, and we're looking forward to seeing the results. However, we want to be sure that our team still gets the same amount of work done each week, so we'll be focusing on efficiency and streamlining our processes.
When does the trial start?
Our new opening hours will be 8:30am - 5:30pm, Monday to Thursday. However, during a week where there is a Bank Holiday Monday, we will be open 8:30-5:30pm on the Friday of that week. The trial will be in effect from April 1st 2023 until July 31st 2023, when we will review the trial and move forward from there.
