Care Council for Wales (CCW)
Wales Care Council's vision is a desire for everyone to live the life that matters to them. They hope to accomplish this by fostering employee confidence and leading and assisting social care improvement. Their duties entail making the care and support workforce accountable for their work by setting standards, creating workforce with the skills and knowledge necessary to safeguard, empower, and assist those in need, collaborating with others to enhance services in areas designated as national priorities. Every three years, CCW members are required to complete post-registration training and learning requirements of 15 days or 90 hours. This must be completed by all members, and as they have to keep records of achieved CPD hours CCW suggests to upload it to the SCWonline account.
