Chartered Institute of Arbitration (CIArb)

An international center of excellence for alternative dispute resolution (ADR) practice and profession, CIArb, is associating over 17, 000 people. Their membership is constantly expanding and currently supported by 41 branches spread across 149 nations. In addition to serving as a global hub for practitioners, policymakers, academics, and businesspeople, CIArb offers training and education for arbitrators, mediators and adjudicators. It also supports the global advancement of all ADR techniques. In addition to facilities for hearings, meetings, and other events, The Institute provides a variety of resources, such as guidance, support, advice, networking, promotional opportunities, etc. All members of the CIArB Presidential Panel must earn 60 points over the course of three years, at least 30 of which must be directly related to the region( s) in which they are appointed in. However, other members are free to fulfill CPD requirements as they see fit.
