Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA)
The Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors is the UK and Ireland sole professional membership organization for internal auditors. They are act on behalf of members in front of regulators, the government, and the media. They also raise the standard in their profession thanks to their policy work. The Global IIA unites 180,000 members from 190 countries - this includes 10,000 members of Chartered IIA from the UK and Ireland. You must continuously uphold and advance your knowledge, skills, and other competencies as a Chartered IIA member throughout your career. 40 hours of CPE must be completed annually by IIA holders who hold the CFIIA, CMIII, PIIPA, and QICA. Members formally declare their compliance with their CPE policy when they renew their membership on April 1st every year.
