Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA)
The only professional accounting organization in the world that focuses solely on public finance is CIPFA. The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy( CIPFA) is a group of professionals who work in public finance. Our 14, 000 members are employed in a variety of public organizations, including national audit firms, major accounting companies, and other organizations that require effective and efficient management of government funds. Participation in CIPFA's ongoing professional development( CPD) program, which was created to adhere to the recommendations made by the International Federation of Accountants( IFAC), is required of Chartered Members. Members of CIPFA who hold both conventional and non-dominant accountancy and audit positions are also accommodated by this flexible program. Over the course of a year, all CIPFA members must complete at least 20 hours of verifiable CPD activities. Additionally, members are expected to consider their learning experiences and results.
