Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (CISI)
The top organization for professionals in securities, investment, wealth, and financial planning is the Chartered Institute for Securities& Investment. Since its founding in 1992 on the London Stock Exchange, it has been committed to professionalism. Its mission is to promote integrity and lifelong learning by raising standards of knowledge, abilities, and behavior on a global scale to increase public confidence in financial services. All members of the CISI, excluding students, must complete the CPD. More CPD hours must be completed by chartered and certified members than by CISI members. The CPD requirement is set at 35 hours per year, with a minimum structure of 21 hours. Ethics, which can be structured or unstructured, must be covered in 35 hours of this CPD. The CISI CPD System must be used to record CPD hours.
