Children's services and education in England fall under the purview of the Department of Education, which also oversees early childhood, schools, higher education policy, apprenticeships, and broader skills. 18 organizations and public organizations support the ministerial department known as DfE. Everyone involved in and working with schools should adhere to the Department of Education's standards in order to improve student results, raise aspirations for professional development, and identify teachers as respected professionals. Although Ofstead regulates teaching, there are no set CPD hours or activities that teachers are required to complete. The CPD activities must be sourced and documented by the schools.
