Institute of Brewing and Distilling (IBD)
The Institute of Brewing and Distilling( IBD) is a UK-based international industry trade association for brewers and distillers. They offer a program of expert qualifications for the internationally renowned beverage industries. Members can expand their own specialist network and support others' success thanks to their global community of experts. With a minimum of 24 points of structured learning, IBD members should strive to earn 60 points annually. Before receiving the award, CSci applicants must complete at least two years of CPD. To keep track of yearly CPD activities, a log book is supplied and must be submitted annually.
