Institute of Explosive Engineers (IEXPE)
The Institute for Explosive Engineers mission is to establish and oversee National Occupational Standards for the Explosives Industry as well as to offer a forum for individuals, professional private organizations, government agencies, and explosives industry experts to consult. By offering mentoring to those requesting professional registration, the Institute actively supports and encourages its members in their professional development. The IEXPE mandates that all registrants complete at least 30 hours of CPD annually and advises allocating this time to areas requiring personal technical proficiency (CPD), personal soft skills, and technical knowledge or skills for job roles. Candidates must provide proof that they have taken steps to develop and maintain their competence when applying for registration through all channels.
