Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management (IHEEM)
IHEEM is a qualified membership organization with a focus on the healthcare estates industry and stands for Institute of Healthcare Engineering& Estates Management. The Engineering Council has granted this organisation permission to assist people who have earned CEng, IEng or EngTech status. The Institute's offer must be continuously improved and developed in order to serve its members as the largest professional organization in the UK devoted to research, education, and the professional development of healthcare engineers and facility managers. CPD must be carried out, and recorded as a requirement of IHEEM membership. IHEEM advises members to regularly assess their career goals and objectives as well as their needs for training, education, and evaluation. Members should then make sure that enough CPD activities are carried out to meet those needs after identifying these needs.
