Institute of Measurement and Control (INSTMC)

The InstMC, short for Institute of Measurement and Control is a global network of experts in measurement, automation, and control which supports related organizations. In order to encourage students in engineering and science, engage the general public, and inform government policy, they have set their main goal to promote high standards of professional competence, inform and support their members in their careers, serve as a connection between academic study and technological practice. The upkeep of the nation's infrastructure and assistance with wartime logistics were the original priorities of their members, who have founded the Institute in 1944. The focus has shifted to creating new significant infrastructure programs, such as nuclear power, oil and gas, the transportation system, and significant industrial and chemical facilities, during the post-war restoration years. Engineering Council registrants will be required to present their CPD record starting at the beginning of 2020.
