Institution of Environmental Sciences (IES)
By assisting academics and professional scientists working in this important field, the Institution of Environmental Sciences is a charitable organization that advances and raises public awareness of environmental science. The Government and other interested parties consult the Institution on environmental issues as a pioneering environmental sciences organization that was established in 1971. The institution promotes and supports environmental science and sustainable development in colleges and universities both domestically and abroad and has close ties to higher education. The Institution of Environmental Sciences' professional members are required to complete 30 hours of CPD annually. A planned and organised method for maintaining and improving members' skills is offered by the IES 'CPD program. Attending any of the IES's workshops, short courses, or seminars will help a member advance their CPD.
