Institution of Gas Engineers and Managers (IGEM)
Institution of Gas Engineers and Managers was found to assist people and businesses involved in the gas sector in achieving and upholding the highest levels of competence. They accomplish this by disseminating technical standards, providing excellent training programs and events that advance professional development, and getting people together through membership to be able to exchange knowledge, skills and best practices. Engineering Council has granted IGEM the authority to grant status to Chartered Engineers, Incorporated Engineer, and Engineering Technicians as well as to help people register as engineers on a professional level. To continue to be a member of IGEM, each member must ratify the professional code of conduct, which mandates that they conduct and document their CPD activities.
