Institution of Mechanical Engineers is the world's largest network of mechanical engineering professionals, with members from more than 140 different countries. In order to ensure that their technical workforces are trained to the highest standards, they develop and maintain important partnerships with leading multinational employers as their membership grows outside of the UK. They strengthen the top companies in the world by giving engineers the knowledge, experience, and skills they need to grow. All engineers and technicians who are currently employed and professionally registered must start recording their CPD as of January 2019. The Engineering Council's CPD policy is supported by the IMechE, which also offers members a tool to record their professional and personal experiences online.
