National Education Union (NEU)
More than 450,000 members, including the majority of teachers, are supported and represented by the National Education Union, which is the largest education union in Europe. You can join the National Education Union if you work in any industry in the UK, including local authorities, academies, independent schools, sixth form colleges, and FE/ HE, whether you're an apprentice, newly qualified or experienced teacher, lecturer, support staff, or leader. No matter what position, industry, or phase teachers work in, the NEU believes that members should have access to CPD at every stage of their careers. Maintaining competence, effectiveness, and innovation in the workplace can be achieved by regularly updating knowledge and skills. Behaviour, Mental Health, Leadership, SEND, and Enhancing Classroom Practice are the five learning suites covered by NEU's CPD program.
