Royal Astronomical Society (RAS)
The Royal Astronomical Society, established in 1820, supports and encourages the study of geophysics, astronomy, and other closely related fields of science. It unites over 4,000 professional astronomers and geophysicists, of which 25% are based abroad. However, not only professionals can join the society - there are also a sizable number of students, seasoned amateurs, geologists, and other people with an interest in the geo-and-astro-sciences. Although they don't list specific times or offer advice on their website, the RAS Education and Outreach team can support CPD needs.
