Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC)

Chemical scientists use their knowledge to enhance health, the environment, and daily lives of general public, whether we are studying the chemistry of life or creating the cutting-edge science that underpins modern technology. Collaboration between Royal Society of Chemistry and their members is crucial. In order for scientists to carry out their best work and make discoveries and innovations, the RSC links them to one another and the society at large. A commitment to continuing to advance their knowledge through professional development is a requirement of being Chartered Professional. The RSC has put in place a requirement for all Chartered Scientists and Chemists to in order to reflect the above. Every member holding CChem and/or CSci must now confirm that they are upholding professional standards through ongoing professional development activities as part of the annual membership renewal process. Each member must take ownership of the management of their own careers in order to realize their full potential.
