Royal Statistical Society

Royal Society of Statisticians is one of the top organizations in the world promoting the value of statistics and data. RSS was founded in 1834. Wherever statisticians and data analysts may reside, they are subject to this regulating organization. RSS unites over 10,000 members worldwide. They operate to ensure that policy formulation and decision-making are informed by evidence for the common good and promote the importance of statistics and data in society. Professional members (those with CStat status or equivalent MIS or FIS) must complete CPD. A minimum of 60 hours per year for at least two years must be completed by all Chartered and Graduate Statisticians. A minimum of 30 hours must be completed by data analysts annually.
