Society of Environmental Engineers
Since 2004 Society for the Environment has established a solid platform as the organisation tasked with promoting and registering the expertise of environmental professionals. They take care of the Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv), Registered Environmental Practitioners (RENvP), and registered Environmental Technician (RECT). All of their members depend heavily on CPD, and maintaining it is a part of their professional development. For those who formally register, the Engineering Council and Society for the Environment separately mandate it as part of the SOE Code of Conduct.
