About Solicitors Regulation Authority

Solicitors Regulation Authority introduced 'Continuing Competence' in November 2016 - his means that solicitors must reflect on their practise and engage in ongoing learning and development to ensure that their skills and knowledge stay current. Continuing Competence is especially necessary in the four areas listed below: -Professionalism, ethics, and sound judgement -Legal practise on a technical level -Cooperation with others -Managing oneself and one's own work Members are no longer required to track CPD hours as of November 1, 2016. Instead, they should now assess the quality of their practise and identify any areas for improvement. They have to then address these needs to ensure that their knowledge and skills are current and that they are qualified to practise.
