The British Dental Association (BDA)
In the UK, dentists and dental students are represented by the BDA. They unite dentists, provide counselling and education for their members, and represent their interests. They represent all areas of dentistry as the trade union and professional organisation, including general practise, community dental services, the armed forces, hospitals, academics, public health, and research. The BDA offers support in achieving required CPD record, for instance through its CPD Planner, which aides people in making learning plans, evaluating their learning requirements, and keeping track of their CPD activities. In order to provide resources for members to complete CPD, they also maintain a CPD portal.
