The Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine (FSEM)

The UK's specialty in sport and exercise medicine is governed by the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine( FSEM), which was established in 2006. Their overarching goal is to advance public health through superior team care, exercise medicine, and musculoskeletal medicine. As a cost-effective method of preventing and managing illness and injury, Sport and Exercise Medicine is also represented and supported by the FSEM. A minimum of 50 educational credits per year, 25 of which must be external, are required for physicians. Of the 50 credits, no more than 10 may be personal. Internal CPD does not have a minimum requirement.
