The Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCSENG)
The Royal College of Surgeons of England educates, assesses, and supports over 30,000 surgeons, dental practitioners, and members of the larger surgical and dental care teams at various phases of their careers. Their goal is to provide superior surgical care to everybody. RCSENG accomplishes this by establishing professional requirements, promoting research, and advocating for the greatest patient outcomes. RCSENG requires all surgeons to perform 50 hours of CPD each year, as well as at least 250 hours during a verification cycle. The majority of surgeons are expected to easily exceed this requirement. Surgeons should strive for a healthy equilibrium of clinical, academic, and professional activity. A single type of activity should not account for more than 20 hours of CPD.
