The Society of Operations Engineers (SOE) members' career journey includes staying current. Additionally, the society backs the CPD initiatives of the Science and Engineering Council. All members rely heavily on continuing professional development (CPD), and maintaining it is a part of their career journey. For those who formally register, the Engineering Council and Society for the Environment separately mandate it as part of the SOE Code of Conduct.
