2023 has been a fantastic year full of growth and exciting new endeavours here at The CPD Group. We’ve connected with fantastic new businesses from around the globe, introduced some exciting new accreditation opportunities, welcomed some brilliant new people to our team and continued to raise the standards for CPD around the globe. 🌏

Teamwork makes the dream work! 👥
We wouldn’t be who we are without our people. As the fastest growing accreditation service in the UK, we’ve had to keep up with the demand by welcoming some new team members.
Our Accreditation and Compliance Team said hello to Accreditation and Compliance Manager Rebecca and Assessor Dee, who have both helped to assess and accredit your courses against our A.C.C.R.E.D.I.T.E.D. Framework.
The Business Development Team welcomed Events Manager Matt and Business Development Manager Nicole who have helped to foster new connections and expand our business globally.
The Marketing Team also welcomed two new Marketing Executives, Logan and Jacob, who help spread our brand message and deliver compelling content in all forms!
Speaking of content… we started a podcast! 🎧
This year, The CPD Group started our very own podcast!
Each episode of the podcast is designed to help our network navigate the world of professional and personal development.
Hosted by our Chief Operation Officer Andy, we’ve hosted some expert guests to discuss a wide variety of topics to benefit your business...
Our first guest was Adam Lacey from our approved provider Assemble You. Adam gave some useful information on how to start your own podcast and how audio-based learning can benefit businesses.
Then, we welcomed Sam Walsh from our accredited Employer, TriGuard, to talk about CPD in the security industry and how to foster a positive working environment.
Then, we spoke to Richard Bowler, the Editor of Professional Electrician and Installer Magazine - the publication that pioneered our Edutorial accreditation service (which you can learn more about below!) Richard and Andy explain how our Edutorial accreditation was developed as Richard came to us to propose the idea of accrediting a written article as a form of CPD!
We then welcomed advisory board member and learning expert Kevin Robinson who offered some excellent tips on how to create three different types of learning: classroom courses, online courses and blended learning.
Our final guest of the first series was legal expert from HCR Law, Wayne Beynon, who offered some important insights into the legal side of our accreditation services. Wayne delved into the importance of company policies, professional indemnity insurance and intellectual property.

Podcast Accreditation 🎧
In today's dynamic world, podcasts have emerged as a popular and convenient medium for learning and professional growth in all industries and sectors. Our podcast accreditation allows your listeners to collect CPD minutes at the end of your podcast and receive a bespoke certificate! Learn more here
Webinar Accreditation 💻
During the pandemic, Webinars offered a way for learners to connect with training providers in a remote setting. Our Webinar accreditation recognises video-based learning and allows your webinar attendees to collect a personalised certificate and CPD credits by scanning a QR code! Learn more here
Edutorial Accreditation 📖
This new accreditation recognises learning in publications in a way that hasn’t yet been seen in the world of professional development. Our new Edutorial accreditation allows readers of educational articles to collect CPD minutes from reading – as well as download an accredited certificate to display their knowledge. Learn more here!
Events
This year, we’ve accredited and attended events from all around the world, helping event organisers to add even more value to their event through the use of QR codes and digital accreditation certificates. This year, we've provided 14,800 event attendees with an accredited event certificate! We don't even want to try and add up how many CPD Credits that is! ✅
This year, we exhibited and accredited at events around the world. This includes The Business Revival Series, which is a show that helps businesses to get back on their feet post-COVID, bringing business owners together from all around the world.
We were also excited to accredit IFA Berlin, the world's largest consumer electronics and home appliances trade show, which celebrated it's 99th year this year! Our Event's manager Matt flew out to be part of the action; and there's big things in store for next year's 100th anniversary... so watch this space!
In the Medical sector, we accredit the EBME Expo, an independent educational event bringing together healthcare professionals who are responsible for the management of medical equipment.
CPD is a key area of the security sector, and we were proud to accredit the International Security Expo, the go to event for those working in high-level roles in the global security industry.
Towards the end of the year, we exhibited and accredited The Business Show, which has been helping small business to network and grow for the past 20 years! We also accredited and exhibited at Futurescape, where our COO gave an insightful talk about CPD and the Landscaping Industry which you can watch here!

We couldn’t do what we do without you, our valued customers! We’ve worked with a whopping 2,336 approved providers this year, including names like Xero, Samsung, Soo Yoga, GovConnect, Reed Learning and lots more! 👋
We’ve said hello to over 100 new CPD accredited Trainers this year, who will all have received their bespoke CPD Trainer card, which you can learn more about here!
We’ve assessed and accredited 2.500+ CPD activities, and have been super impressed with the high standards of professional development from all sectors. 👏
Work hard… play hard! 🐾
Whilst the team have been working hard to provide our accreditation services, we’ve also had a bit of fun along the way!
For example, we indulged in some animal therapy by having a Bring Your Dog to Work Day, and had some festive fun with our Christmas Jumper Day!
4 Day Work Week
At The CPD Group, we're all about innovation and positive change; which is why we decided to trial and switch to a Four Day Work Week! We've found it had boosted productivity, morale, and helped to contribute to the positive working culture we have in our office!
